Congrats to all the middle school students in Eagle Mountain who achieved the high honor roll this semester.

Last week, we had the chance to continue one of our favorite traditions—our Candy Bars for Stars program—this term at Sage Canyon Middle School. Through this program, Direct Communications honors students who have worked hard academically by recognizing them right where it matters most—the classroom.

Celebrating High Honor Roll Students

Through our Candy Bars for Stars program, we provided candy, chocolate, and gum as a small reward for students who earned high honor roll.

Direct Communications staff teamed up with Sage Canyon Middle School staff to visit classrooms and recognize students individually. More than 500 candy bars were distributed as part of the recognition effort.

“We absolutely love having you all come!” said Nita Wood, Professional School Counselor at Sage Canyon Middle School.

A Community Tradition in Eagle Mountain

Candy Bars for Stars has become a consistent part of Direct Communications’ ongoing efforts to support education in Eagle Mountain. By working directly with schools, the company aims to recognize student achievement in a way that is both visible and meaningful.

“It’s honestly one of my favorite things we get to do all year. Getting into the classrooms, seeing the students’ reactions—it’s just fun. These kids have earned it. I’ve been doing this program for almost 20 years now. We keep doing it this because we really believe in supporting our schools and celebrating the effort students put in every day.” said Diane Bradshaw of Direct Communications.
