JOB OPENING: COMBINATION TECHNICIAN
Location: Eagle Mountain
PAY: $15-18/hr DOE
Hours: Monday to Friday 8hrs/day
BENEFITS: vacation & holidays paid, commissions, free internet
Job Duties & Requirements:
- Install new services and equipment for internet subscribers by installing drop wires, station protectors and network interface devices over fiber optic cable.
- Maintain and repair existing services and equipment by using test sets to locate line trouble and determine necessary repairs. Repairs may include fixing wiring, station protectors, ground connections, running new wires and replacing jacks as needed.
- Complete outside plant installation repair related forms and reports.
- Install VOIP, computer networking, high speed circuits and other services for home networking.
- General knowledge of TCP/IP, PPPoE, WPA or related protocols and other service for home and business networking.
- Demonstrate the ability to internact with a variety of people in a professional manner.
- Willing to work after hours as needed.
- Must have and maintain a valid drivers license and be insurable.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, prefer some college.
- Competency in Widows-based environment
- Internet and tech savvy, prefer at least one year of internet protocol.
- Bilingual a plus
